“Sizebay participates in the 2022 edition of the E-Commerce Brasil Forum”
Original headline: “Sizebay participa da Edição 2022 do Fórum E-commerce Brasil”

The main Brazilian e-commerce channel lists Sizebay among the companies at its 2022 Forum, the sector's reference gathering in Brazil and Latin America.
What the piece reports
Short pieces like this one matter for a different reason than features do: they are the record of who the sector counted as a player, in a given year, without anyone asking for it. This one carries more than a name on a list, because it was written when the company was a sponsor of the Forum, which is held on 26 and 27 July that year, the first in-person edition after the pandemic.
The scale it records is the useful part. More than 550 clients worldwide, across 38 countries and 18 languages, with offices on three continents, and the split given by continent: 87.7% of the stores in Latin America, 7.97% in Europe, 3.19% in North America and around 1% everywhere else. A company built in Brazil, still selling mostly in Latin America, with Europe and North America counted in single digits.
It also dates the expansion. The piece puts the start of the internationalisation in 2019, with the office in Porto, and reports that the office in Austin, Texas had just been completed. That US operation is where the founders live now.
The market data it cites is worth keeping too, because it is the argument for the product in two numbers. Online clothing and accessory sales in Brazil were up 10.2% year on year, and exchanges and returns were climbing with them; Power Reviews data for 2021 put size and fit problems at 70% of the main reasons for a fashion return, ahead of goods arriving damaged or defective at 65%.
The company's own figures here are its own, as the outlet reported them. What the piece does not do is claim a result, and neither do we.
