StartOut Brasil picked 15 companies out of 191 that applied from across Brazil, and to be eligible a startup had to be earning revenue, preferably above R$500,000, or to have raised investment, and to have a team working on nothing else plus the capacity to expand abroad without damaging its Brazilian operation. The immersion in Lisbon ran from 11 to 16 November, with mentoring, training and workshops.
